Stop the Bleed / Hands Only CPR

Trinity Health Oakland -Trauma Services offers Stop the Bleed Training at no cost to the community with the goal of increasing public awareness of bleeding control techniques in the event of an emergency.

Each participant will gain knowledge of bleeding control techniques, including:

• How to recognize a life-threatening bleed
• Techniques to control the bleeding until more advanced help arrives, including manual pressure and tourniquet application.
• The Training will also include how to respond with HANDS - ONLY CPR in the event of cardiac arrest. (This training is NOT a full CPR certification and participants do not receive a certification card).

How to get to the location:

Park in the South Visitor Parking lot. Enter the South Visitor Entrance and enjoy the artwork as you walk towards the stairs or elevator to the lower level. Gagliardi Room will be down the hallway on the left. Follow the signage for guidance. You can also get assistance at the circular information desk next to the fire place.
