I really appreciated how kind and respectful she was, she listened and took my concerns seriously. I didn't feel rushed or brushed off. My only negative is that I'm unclear as to what comes next, what illness being tested for, and I don't want to just be abandoned after all the tests are done

How I was treated mattered in many ways. I hadn't been to the doctor for two years so I probably talked a lot. She kept up with me and made additional suggestions and was very thorough. She encouraged me to keep seeing the doctor every six months - something zero doctor(s) have ever done for me. I felt heard and cared for and what she did mattered and will influence the rest of my life. Give Angela a raise, please - she deserves it.

Side note: my husband had an appointment in November for a yearly physical including labs. Labs were done but appt was cancelled for 3 months out which was the first appt. He was called two days prior and again hos appt was canceled and rescheduled for another 3 months out. This is unacceptable. He is a patient at Norton Family care on Henry.( not the same provider II see).

My experience with the entire Trinity health system at any given locations has been miserable and vexing. Normally, I would rather go see a physician in a question bodega basement then go to Trinity. The bedside manner, customer service, and all around commitment to well-being at Trinity feels incredibly like it is strictly structured around maximizing profits and minimizing humanity and compassion. Pretty ironic really for an institution built around a core ideal of caring for others. I digress, the reason for this 8 of 10 rating is becaue of Angela Leyrer. She is phenomenal in all the regards that I would otherwise demerit Trinity for.

Angela spent a large quantity of time with me due to my illnesses. We spoke about all of the symptoms, concerns and recovery. At no time did she make me feel that she needed to rush to the end of the appointment. Very courteous and concerned about me, the patient, at the time of the appointment.

Angela is a fantastic physician. Her bedside manner is awesome. She truly listens to what you have to say and if she doesn't have the answer right at her fingertip she will get the answer and make sure you get it. She is always bright and cheerful. I truly enjoy my visits with angela.
