Very calming experience discussing way to ease my pain
Since there is a pre-op information brochure, there needs to be post-op information shared for a patient's recovery.
The care, support and attention I received was nothing short of incredible. He was very supportive with both me and my family. Before and after surgery. Dr. Thawani and his staff made sure I was well educated and informed every step of the process for my surgery and recovery. I would recommend him a million times over.

At our first meeting, Dr. Thawani told me he’d be in my corner throughout this procedure, and he has been true to his word. I’ve gone from a routine pain level of 7-8 to 0 pain at this point. I have felt very supported by my surgeon and his staff.

I had to fill out a very lengthy questionaire prior to my visit and give it to them. I snuck a trick answer into one of the questions as a test to see if anyone actually would read it. Both the nurse and the physician caught it immediately! That's a test I would have failed.
I am happy that Dr Thaiwani has knowledge in both neurology and oncology.

I had emergency brain surgery, which was very scary for my family and me. My Husband and family told me a few days after the surgery that when Dr. Thawani came out to talk to them after the surgery he was very easy to talk to, explained things very well and made sure everyone's questions were answered. He and his team have made this experience a much easier calmer situation than you would have thought it would have been. Thank you to the entire team for saving my life.

Dr. Thawani was excellent! He has great communication and people skills. His awesome personality made me feel at ease going into surgery. He was able to answer all of my questions which made it easier for me to feel calm even through the pain. People told me that I should not get back surgery, but I'm glad I did it. It's great not being in pain and the surgery saved me from nerve damage that could have left me unable to use my left foot or feel the lower portion of my leg (which had already began to happen). Three weeks after surgery, I gained back the feeling of my leg and the use of my foot. I am grateful to Dr. Thawani for his knowledge and expertise in this field!!

Everything about this visit was terrific. Dr Thawani had reviewed my record before coming into the exam room and explained everything in a manor I could understand.
I like the way Dr. Thawani knew the kind of lifestyle I lived prior to the back injury and wanted to make sure that I get back to my life of being active and working out. I like how he cautioned me in removing some of the exercises I used to do to prevent re-injuring myself. He also left notes for the PT to help me get back into an exercise routine gradually.
A great team. It was easy to get an appointment., I was greeted by the receptionist right away, I was taken to the exam room right away, and Dr. Thawani came within minutes. Dr Thawani had studied my record before greeting me and explained everything in a manor I could understand. He was knowledgeable, kind and patient.
I recently had major cervical spine surgery to treat myelopathy and radiculopathy and Dr. Thawani was my surgeon. He put me at ease and explained everything very clearly. The surgery went very well and he and his team have been consistently available to answer any questions. Not only was Dr. Thawani great but everyone on his team was also very professional and helpful. I highly recommend him!
