In past visits (3, I think before this most recent visit with her) PA Lopez has taken more time for the appointment than any of the physicians or other PAs in Hematology. She has been thorough, perhaps even beyond stricter limits of the call of duty in this field. But in doing so, she has not only covered medical ground possibly missed by others, but has offered insightful advice for getting through pain issues and other things. This helped me immensely, not only in answering questions medically but in kindly offering advice that have helped to guide me through the challenges of my health issues. For some reason, this time she was much more brief and "official" with her visit - which I understand at one level, but left me a bit disappointed.

Krystal is very compassionate...my husband passed away this past year. When that happened I was met with a caring hug, we both cried. That appt was spent talking about how I was doing, did I need help, what support did I have, if I needed Anything she was willing to be there for me. Her talking to me in my tears did better than any medicine :).

I am very pleased with health care provided by Trinity Health, specifically by Krystal Lopez. She is always updated with last developments on my health status searching for ways my treatment can be adjusted to optimize the results. The conservative approach is safe, minimizing the risc for adverse reactions to treatment. Also I would like to emphasize the excellent coordination with Dr Reynolds and the entire oncology team.

My husband unexpectedly passed away a few months ago. My having Stage IV Cancer made my life much more difficult. At my appts the tears flowed freely as I couldn't talk. The hugs abounded and each person talked about my husband's passing which has been more important than the cancer. Wish I could take them all home with me so it wouldn't be so lonely. They're not just my providers that ministers my treatments, they have ministered to my hurting heart. They have become my friends that I can lean on and I can see my grief in their eyes. Their hugs have been better than any medicine. I am thankful for each one of them.
