Our team of massage therapists is certified in several specialized massage techniques, including:

Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage

This service is a basic whole body massage for general relaxation and stress release. Techniques include:

• Myofascial (MYO) - Uses very mild pressure and gentle forms of stretching and traction to help release tension and relieve pain. 
• Myofascial Release Technique (MRT) - A unique therapy that combines stretching and compression to assist in the pain relief of repetitive use injuries. 
• Neuromuscular Technique (NMT) - Utilizes special massage techniques, functional assessment and stretching to treat various chronic and acute pain conditions.

Therapeutic Massage

This massage concentrates on deep muscle tissue. Therapist can concentrate on the full body or a specific area depending on the client’s needs. Techniques include:

• Prenatal - Tailored to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies, this relaxes tense muscles, eases sore spots, improves circulation and mobility and makes our mommy-to-be feel good. 
• Oncology Massage - Performed by a certified oncology therapist to ensure the patient's changing body is not harmed. Massage is meant help the patient handle the stress of a cancer diagnosis while addressing any physical issues. 
• Manual Lymphatic Drainage - Light pressure is used to manually move fluid through the body. The massage promotes a healthy immune system and removes blockages from the lymphatic system.

Specialized Massage Services

• Seated Massage – Designed to relax the muscles and improve circulation and movement within the body. 
• Two by Two Massage – A Swedish massage performed in a two by two room, accommodating two clients and two massage therapists simultaneously. This is a special experience for couples, friends, patients and their guests. 
• Inpatient Massage - A therapist will come to a patient's room and massage for a maximum of 30 minutes, with written physician permission. 
• Reflexology Massage - A massage theory based on the idea that reflex points on the hands, feet and head are linked to every part of the body. Manipulation of these reflex points will relieve tension and treat illness.

Add-On Services

• Hot Stone – Water-heated basalt stones are placed on specific points of the body to promote relaxation. Muscles are pretreated with heated stones to more easily perform deep tissue manipulation. 
• Scrubs – Single treatment of hands and arms or feet and legs to remove dead, dry skin to help improve hydration. Hot towels are also used. 
• Bamboo Fusion – The use of heated Ratten, a type of bamboo, throughout the massage to promote increased relaxation, circulation and decreased muscle tension. 
• Aromatherapy – Utilizes natural oils to promote relaxation and healing.
